Hi

I'm trying to access Skydemon web from my desktop and getting an error message the green button goes live. The error says "There was a communications error during the operation 'get settings'. Check your internet connection and try again".

There is nothing wrong with my internet connection (I know because I can post this). Any advice greatly appreciated.

I'm seeing the same thing. There was an issue with their servers a few weeks or so ago. Maybe it's recurred?

The desktop product appears to be working just fine. Last time there was an issue they both had problems I seem to recall.

We're in the midst of a server move; this outage may have been because of that. It should be working fine again now.

Hello,
I'm working with a mac. After the winebottle mac version during first use made my mac crash to a reboot, I bit the bullet and installed silverlight (usually I have a strict no MS on OSX policy). I can not log in, using firefox. I get the following error message:

There was a communications error during operation "Log In". Check that you are connected to the internet and try again. [HttpWebRequest_WebException_RemoteServer]
Arguments: NotFound

It is likely that something on your network is preventing SkyDemon Web from talking to our server. It talks only via HTTP on port 80, if that helps.

As a matter of fact, that did help. Stupid mistake, I had some old rule in little snitch firewall concerning the plugin container. Works like a charm now. Thanks for the great support, sorry for wasting your time.
